In San Marzano the winemakers take care of their small vineyard as they do with a garden. Their stories are many, as are the names of their families. We chose one, Talò, to thank them ideally: family by family, history by history. San Marzano Cellars
In San Marzano viticulture has a long history, which can be read in its oldest vineyards, rich in centuries-old clones. From this precious heritage of sapling vineyards with over sixty years a wine is born, which is the most beautiful tale of our territory. San Marzano Winery
In 1962, to demonstrate the high wine-growing potential of Salento, 19 winegrowers founded "Cantine San Marzano". Since then much time has passed, yet their old vines still produce rare and precious bunches. We have the task of collecting and enhancing them, with a bit of experience and a handful of innovation. Result. this intense, elegant, long-lived Primitivo. San Marzano Cellars
By tradition and care we take care of the withering of 11 rows of Primitivo: where the sapling stocks are welded to reddish soils with calcareous veins; with the patience that the trade gives us, we dare to forge from these grapes the sweetest nectar, to ooze a few, highly counted drops. Unreproducible wine, made without calculation, like everything torn from practical utility. To be tasted preferably according to inspiration, whenever "of pleasure punga vag effet".
